# Restaurant Trade License Fee Bangladesh: Budget Guide

একটি national fixed fee নেই কেন এবং নিজের premises-এর official demand কীভাবে পাবেন।

সারা Bangladesh-এর জন্য এক restaurant trade license fee নেই। Issuing authority, business category, local tax schedule, প্রযোজ্য signboard/assessment এবং new, renewal বা late status অনুযায়ী amount বদলায়।

DNCC city tax schedule অনুযায়ী fee নেওয়ার কথা বলে। তাই অন্য restaurant বা blog-এর exact amount quotation নয়; authority-generated demand-ই budget ও payment-এর source।

## Current fee জানবেন কীভাবে

Official portal-এ correct category ও premises দিয়ে application করুন এবং assessment/demand নিন। DNCC হলে official e-Revenue link ব্যবহার করুন।

Category unclear হলে licensing office থেকে current schedule reference লিখিতভাবে নিন।

## Price জিজ্ঞেস করার আগে issuing authority ঠিক করুন

Brand name বা owner-এর home address নয়, physical premises থেকে শুরু করুন। Invest Bangladesh অনুযায়ী trade license city corporation, Paurashava বা Union Parishad issue করে। DNCC-এর ভেতরের outlet responsible DNCC route অনুসরণ করবে, অন্য jurisdiction-এর office, portal, form ও schedule আলাদা হতে পারে।

Multi-branch business-এ প্রতি premises-এর আলাদা record রাখুন। Head-office license অন্য kitchen বা storefront cover করে ধরে নেবেন না। প্রতি branch-এর authority, ward, application reference ও licensed activity লিখে রাখুন।

## Provisional budget সঠিকভাবে ব্যবহার করুন

Authority demand আসার আগে opening budget-এ clearly marked provisional allowance রাখুন, quoted fee নয়। Placeholder-এর owner, replace করার due date এবং separate approval excluded—এই note দিন। Official demand এলে placeholder replace করে supporting document save করুন।

Cash-flow planning-এর range চাইলে একই authority/category-এর নিজের prior receipt বা written current response ব্যবহার করুন। এটিকে planning estimate label করুন এবং contingency fee line-এর বাইরে রাখুন। পাশের restaurant-এর category, signboard, timing বা assessed fact আলাদা হতে পারে।

## Licence fee ও compliance cost আলাদা

Official trade-license demand একটি cost। Document copy, deed correction, photo, professional help, travel, signage change ও query answer-এর staff time implementation cost। Fire, food safety, tax ও VAT process আলাদা, যদি official paper সরাসরি কোনো charge যুক্ত না করে।

Authority fee, late charge, documentation ও adviser cost-এর আলাদা ledger code রাখুন। তাহলে renewal বেশি হওয়ার কারণ schedule নাকি delay/rework তা বোঝা যায় এবং blog estimate official fee হিসেবে accounting-এ ঢোকে না।

## Restaurant-এর books-এ fee record

Branch-level compliance register-এ legal entity, licensed name, premises, authority, application number, issue/expiry date, demand amount, payment reference, receipt file ও responsible person রাখুন। Accounting entry official receipt-এর সঙ্গে link করুন; agent message screenshot বা internal placeholder-এর সঙ্গে নয়।

Renewal-এ cash payment ও new receipt reconcile করে previous period-এর demand line compare করুন। Category, address, signboard বা late charge change-এর reason লিখুন। Portal pending দেখালে clearing record-এ amount রেখে official support-এ contact করুন; দ্বিতীয় payment নয়।

## Number না বানিয়ে budget

Demand আসা পর্যন্ত range placeholder রাখুন। Copy, certified paper, premises change ও sector approval-এর জন্য আলাদা contingency রাখুন।

Fire license, food safety, BIN, TIN বা company registration একত্র করে trade-license fee বলবেন না।

## Demand verification worksheet

Demand বা assessment পাওয়ার পরে applicant name, business name, premises, ward, activity/category, new না renewal period, fee line, surcharge/late line, signboard detail, payment deadline এবং issuing authority এক worksheet-এ তুলুন। Application reference ও portal URL demand copy-এর সঙ্গে রাখুন।

Mismatch হলে payment-এর আগে official licensing desk বা portal support-এ query reference নিন। Verbal agent assurance দিয়ে wrong category pay করবেন না। Corrected demand এলে old ও new version preserve করুন, যাতে change, approver এবং final payable amount audit করা যায়।

## Agent cost ও official payment আলাদা রাখুন

Document preparation বা follow-up-এর জন্য agent/professional ব্যবহার করলে তার service scope, fee, invoice ও authority লিখিত নিন। Agent fee government licence fee নয় এবং agent-এর personal wallet বা receipt official payment evidence নয়।

Portal বা authority-approved channel-এ payment করুন। Agent login, NID copy, deed বা credential access minimum রাখুন এবং কাজ শেষে return/delete requirement লিখুন। কোনো unofficial facilitation payment budget বা article-এ legitimate fee হিসেবে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করবেন না; সন্দেহ হলে official grievance বা qualified legal route নিন।

## Opening timeline-এ licence gate

Fit-out, signboard, staff joining, supplier order ও launch campaign-এর timeline থেকে licence dependency আলাদা করুন। কোন document premises owner দেবেন, কোনটি applicant, কোন inspection বা sector approval আগে দরকার এবং কে status follow করবে তা responsibility matrix-এ রাখুন।

Processing time source ছাড়া promise করবেন না। Opening date plan-এ contingency রাখুন এবং licence বা required approval pending থাকলে applicable authority/qualified adviser-এর instruction মেনে operation decision নিন। Marketing launch delay হলেও inaccurate premises বা activity দিয়ে দ্রুত licence নেওয়া safer shortcut নয়।

## Fee article citation method

Public content update করার সময় authority page, portal, schedule/demand basis, jurisdiction, business category এবং checked date লিখুন। Portal screenshot-এ personal data mask করুন। One-off applicant demand national price নয়; example হলে context ও limitation visible রাখুন।

Source page unavailable, schedule বদলানো বা portal wording unclear হলে exact figure remove করুন এবং official demand নিতে বলুন। Previous article number silently নতুন year-এ copy করবেন না। Correction এলে affected claim, source ও updated date editorial log-এ রাখুন।
