Your staff need the correct menu, a working printer and a plan for the first internet outage. Rosuii’s Windows restaurant POS targets Windows 10/11, 64-bit. It uses your existing restaurant account and can queue eligible sales and payment records on a prepared device. Connected services still need internet. Here is how to turn that capability into a practical counter setup in Bangladesh. ## Start with your shift, not a feature count Write down what your cashier actually does from opening to handover. A Dhanmondi café might need takeaway orders and cup labels. A full-service restaurant may need tables, waiter assignment and kitchen communication. Choose the demonstration around those jobs instead of asking whether the software has everything. Separate essential opening-day work from later additions. Your menu and order flow must be correct before adding payroll, loyalty or a second branch. Rosuii’s plan permissions still apply in the desktop app; an installer is not an unlimited licence. ## Check the counter PC before replacing hardware Confirm Windows version and 64-bit architecture, available storage and the printer driver. The current Rosuii desktop build does not support Windows 7/8 or 32-bit Windows. Do not buy an old terminal solely because a seller says it runs POS software. Ask for a demonstration using your exact computer and printer. Keep the full portable bundle together if using that release format; the executable depends on its accompanying files. If you test in a live account, agree how those transactions will be identified and handled; otherwise your trial creates confusing sales records. - Sign in while connected and confirm the restaurant and branch. - Load your menu, prices, variations and payment methods. - Use Sync offline data before disconnecting. - Print a controlled test sale on the actual receipt printer. - Record who is responsible for unresolved offline work at handover. ## Test a sale without the internet Disconnect the counter, take an eligible test order and keep its temporary reference. Record a payment through the supported flow. Reconnect and check that the server receives the order and the payment remains attached to it. A local payment record is not proof that an online wallet transaction succeeded. Treat bKash/Nagad confirmation as a separate connected step. Similarly, a kitchen screen showing cached orders does not prove it received this new sale. ## Make handover a repeatable check Before closing, inspect pending and failed work, check order details on the server and hand over unresolved references. Do not reset the app or replace the device while unsynchronised work remains. Your acceptance test is simple: can the next cashier explain what was sold, what was paid and what still needs attention?
