How to use it step by step
- Choose one settlement period and export or download its platform statement.
- Separate gross item sales from delivery charges paid to the platform and from customer-funded promotions.
- Copy the contracted commission rate exactly; convert a percentage to a decimal only inside your spreadsheet formula.
- Enter only the restaurant-funded part of a discount. A platform-funded promotion should not be deducted twice.
- Add VAT or tax on fees, refunds, ad spend and other adjustments as separate lines.
- Compare the estimated payout with the actual bank or wallet credit and investigate the difference.
Contribution after food cost
Platform payout is not profit. To estimate order contribution, subtract ingredient cost, packaging and any restaurant-funded rider or fulfilment cost from the payout. Keep rent and monthly payroll in a separate fixed-cost view so a single order is not assigned an arbitrary share.
Use the same item-cost basis across Pathao Food, other marketplaces and your direct channel. That makes channel comparison useful instead of comparing gross sales on one channel with net payout on another.
