Foodpanda profit calculator-এ gross sales নয়, completed order থেকে কত contribution থাকছে সেটাই হিসাব করতে হবে। foodpanda-এর official partner FAQ অনুযায়ী একাধিক commission package আছে এবং registration-এর সময় exact rate দেখানো হয়। তাই অন্য restaurant-এর rate নয়, নিজের current contract ব্যবহার করুন।
সহজ formula: order revenue থেকে percentage commission, contract adjustment, restaurant-funded discount, ingredient, packaging ও fulfilment cost বাদ দিন। যা থাকে তা fixed rent ও salary বাদ দেওয়ার আগের contribution; final net profit নয়।
প্রতি order-এর formula
G = commissionable order value, C = নিজের commission rate, A = অন্য order adjustment, F = food cost, P = packaging এবং D = অন্য fulfilment cost ধরুন। Contribution = G - (G × C) - A - F - P - D।
Platform fee-এর tax বা VAT invoice-এ থাকলে A-এর মধ্যে actual amount রাখুন। Commission base ও promotion rule contractভেদে আলাদা হতে পারে।

Payout কেন profit নয়
Bank deposit-এ অনেক order একসঙ্গে থাকতে পারে এবং promotion, refund বা correction বাদ যেতে পারে। আবার ingredient ও packaging অন্য account থেকে দেওয়া হয়। তাই deposit-কে reconciliation target হিসেবে ধরুন, profit হিসেবে নয়।
মাসের সব order contribution যোগ করে এরপর rent, fixed salary, utility, software ও depreciation বাদ দিলে operating profit-এর কাছাকাছি হিসাব পাওয়া যায়।

Double count ছাড়া input নিন
Customer payment থেকে নতুন করে বানানোর বদলে statement-defined commissionable value দিয়ে শুরু করুন। Marketplace commission ও invoiced fee tax আলাদা column। Restaurant-funded discount একবারই record করুন; value বা settlement-এ আগে কমে গেলে আবার subtract করবেন না।
Food cost-এ sold item-এর actual quantity × current purchase cost নিন। Packaging-এ box, cup, lid, bag, seal, cutlery ও condiment রাখুন। Restaurant arrangement-এ variable delivery cost থাকলেই D-তে দিন। Fixed manager salary ও rent order row-তে নয়।
Order contribution ও monthly profit আলাদা
Order contribution বলে completed order নিজের variable cost cover করেছে কি না। Contribution margin percentage = contribution ÷ labelled comparable revenue base। Positive order মাসের overhead cover নাও করতে পারে; negative order overhead-এর আগেই value নষ্ট করে।
Monthly view-এ channel/outlet-এর completed-order contribution যোগ করে verified fixed payroll, rent, utility, software, depreciation ও period cost একবার subtract করুন। Same fixed bill প্রতি order-এ এবং month-end-এ দুইবার নয়। Contribution, operating profit ও bank cash তিনটি আলাদা metric।
Menu বদলানোর আগে sensitivity check
Row copy করে একবারে একটি variable বদলান: contract rate, menu price, portion cost, packaging, restaurant-funded promotion বা cancellation loss। কোন assumption contribution বদলায় বোঝা যাবে। Scenario planning estimate; demand forecast বা platform approval নয়।
Price change conversion, promotion eligibility ও customer choice বদলাতে পারে, তাই sheet শুধু cost side। Comparable period-এ completed order, complaint, prep reliability ও contribution দেখুন। একসঙ্গে অনেক change করে এক variable-কে credit দেবেন না।

হিসাব দেখে কী সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন
Negative contribution item overhead-এর আগেই loss করছে। Price, portion, packaging বা menu placement বদলান। কম positive contribution item বেশি-margin add-on-এর সঙ্গে bundle করা যায়।
শুধু channel revenue দেখবেন না। Contribution per order, average order value, cancellation এবং repeat order একসঙ্গে তুলনা করুন।
Rosuii কীভাবে সাহায্য করে

Calculator input-এর evidence রাখুন
প্রতিটি input-এর পাশে source period ও reference লিখুন: order export, payout statement, approved menu price, packaging invoice, recipe cost sheet, discount report বা refund record। Contract-এর private rate public article থেকে অনুমান করে বসাবেন না।
Statement-এ fee, tax, campaign, refund বা adjustment আলাদা line থাকলে calculator-এও আলাদা রাখুন। একাধিক deduction এক field-এ জড়ো করলে কোন change margin কমিয়েছে বোঝা যায় না। Missing input planning estimate হলে label, assumption owner ও verification date দিন।
Base, cautious ও improved scenario
Base scenario-তে recent verified mix ব্যবহার করুন। Cautious scenario-তে lower order value, higher packaging বা বেশি promotion pressure-এর মতো relevant risk আলাদা বদলান। Improved scenario-তে শুধু এমন action রাখুন যা menu, portion, procurement বা campaign decision দিয়ে বাস্তবে control করা যায়।
একসঙ্গে সব assumption favourable করে target বানাবেন না। Scenario-র উদ্দেশ্য guaranteed profit দেখানো নয়; কোন variable decision বদলায় এবং কোন risk owner-এর control-এর বাইরে তা দেখা।

Worked ৳1,000 line blank planning basket, profitability claim নয়: শুধু commissionable-value placeholder আছে, contract rate ও adjustment unfilled। Contribution order level-এ fixed overhead-এর আগে হিসাব হয়। Monthly operating profit-এর জন্য verified fixed cost দিয়ে দ্বিতীয় calculation দরকার।
