Foodpanda Menu Availability Checklist for Restaurants: Stop Preventable Cancellations

Last verified: 2026-08-31

A Foodpanda menu availability checklist prevents the restaurant from selling an item it cannot complete. Availability is not only whether the main ingredient exists. It includes variations, add-ons, combo parts, packaging, station capacity, equipment and the remaining service window.

foodpanda's Bangladesh partner page tells verified partners to upload menus and dish photos, set opening hours and activate the restaurant. It also recommends menu optimisation and exposes busy or pause controls. Treat the live menu as an operating promise that needs an owner every shift.

Opening availability sweep

Record checker and time. A green restaurant status with stale item data still creates cancellations.

Prioritise high-volume and promoted items, then review the complete menu. Promotions can accelerate an availability error.

Build an item-to-component matrix

For each online item list the critical ingredient, variation, add-ons, combo components, container, seal, drink cup and station. Set a conservative trigger quantity for review rather than promising an exact number from uncertain stock.

Rosuii does not claim automatic recipe-to-menu deduction. Use stock and production information as signals and have the kitchen confirm the sellable quantity.

Check capacity and equipment availability

An item can be in stock but operationally unavailable if the fryer, oven, blender or station is down or overloaded. Connect each item to its required station and fallback.

Use busy or pause controls according to current Foodpanda tools when overall capacity fails. For a narrow failure, update the affected item through the approved portal process.

Mid-shift trigger table

Write who can change availability and who verifies the customer view. A back-office change is not complete until the live listing shows the intended result.

Keep content accurate

Compare item name, description, included components, size, allergens or dietary statements under policy, photo and current price to the approved menu master. Do not use a photo that shows extras not included unless the description makes that clear.

Record requested change, approver, portal submission and live verification. Keep a before/after reference for material changes.

Handle combos and modifiers

A combo should inherit the tightest component constraint. If drinks are out, decide whether the approved menu has a selectable alternative; do not let the kitchen improvise a value-different replacement.

Review required modifier groups to ensure at least one valid option remains. An item with no selectable required option is not genuinely available.

Availability change log

Reason codes help separate stock, supplier, prep, equipment, packaging and portal issues. Review restoration delay as well as outage duration.

Weekly menu health metrics

Track cancellations due to unavailable items, most-disabled items, outage duration, restore delay, modifier misses, packaging shortages and promoted-item failures. Use results to change par levels, supplier plans, menu design or prep capacity.

How we calculated and verified this

foodpanda's public partner page supports setting opening hours, uploading menus and dish photos, activating the restaurant, optimising menus and using busy/pause controls. The availability matrix is a restaurant operating template.

Exact portal steps and menu-change timing may change. Use the live partner portal and support guidance rather than treating screenshots in this article as instructions.

Menu availability is a cross-team control between purchasing, kitchen, delivery and the live customer view. Give it a shift owner and a dated change log.

Use Foodpanda's current portal for platform changes and Rosuii's menu and stock records as restaurant-side operating inputs.
