Square publishes its restaurant subscriptions and related charges in the currencies of its supported markets, commonly USD for the United States. A Bangladeshi restaurant then has to consider exchange rates, international payment availability and possible bank charges. Processing fees and hardware costs also need separate review.

A BDT subscription is easier to budget. The owner can compare the monthly software cost directly against sales, labour, wastage and other operating expenses without converting currencies every month.
