What can you ask ChatGPT about your own restaurant?

You can connect your Rosuii restaurant account to ChatGPT or Claude to ask about sales, orders and menu descriptions. The assistant receives tools according to your account permissions. The connector is included on every Rosuii plan, including Free; the assistant provider's own access conditions are separate.

Approving a new connection requires a restaurant admin account or settings.edit permission. Reading reports later is a separate reports.view permission check.

This is different from the public MCP service that explains Rosuii's prices and features. The restaurant account connector needs your authorization. The public product service holds no private restaurant orders.

Start with one small question

Imagine closing the restaurant and wondering which dishes sold most last week. Add the connection in a compatible assistant, sign in on Rosuii's page and read the consent list. Never paste your password into chat. Begin by reading a period you recognize before asking for edits.

• “Show total sales and order count from 5 to 11 October 2026.” This needs reports.view.
• “Show the five highest-selling dishes by quantity for those dates.” This also needs report access.
• “Show the latest twenty-five orders from 11 October 2026, with payment status.” This needs orders.view.
• “List up to twenty-five active dishes with missing or short descriptions.” This needs menu-items.view.

These are example dates, not recorded results. Replace them with your test period. If you ask about “last week,” check the dates returned. For a comparison, ask the assistant to retrieve both periods separately.

Read the answer with three limits in mind

First, an order list is not a complete ledger. A call returns at most one hundred recent orders, with twenty-five as the default. Use the sales summary for an aggregate order count.

Second, best and worst dish lists rank quantities among names that sold. Dishes with no sales do not appear in the lowest-selling list. Lines sold under the same name are grouped together. This is not a profitability ranking.

An assigned branch limits orders, sales, staff and per-branch dish availability; a branch the person is not assigned to is refused. Menu descriptions, the public profile and the website FAQ are restaurant-level and are not divided by branch. The reporting tools do not provide a separate parameter for selecting any branch by mentioning it in a question.

Make checking one answer a habit

• Record the dates, order conditions and account branch behind the answer.
• Compare the total with a Rosuii report using the same conditions.
• Do not treat fully paid bill totals as cash-drawer collections including partial receipts.
• If totals differ, investigate before using the answer to make a decision.

Use the reporting scope and conditions to plan that check. An assistant's explanation does not replace the underlying records.

Review writing before you save

Editing menu descriptions needs menu-items.edit; publishing website FAQs needs settings.edit. Ask to see a draft first. A save changes the public website immediately, and Rosuii does not impose a separate draft-approval gate.

The connector cannot take, void or refund payments. It has no tools for changing prices, creating staff logins, changing permissions or plans, or reading or changing stock. Rosuii does not run its own language model.

Read the distinction between public AI information and account access, then choose one reading task from the tool list. Connecting an account does not guarantee AI recommendations or search placement.

Rosuii publishes this guide about its own connector. We reviewed the tool definitions, permission checks and published product information on 14 October 2026. This is an implementation and content review, not a new production account test. Example questions are instructions to try, not recorded customer results.
