POS machine price in Bangladesh is confusing because sellers use POS machine for at least three products: an Android terminal with printer, an all-in-one counter computer and a bank-issued card payment terminal. A thermal receipt printer is also sometimes placed in the same category.

This guide separates them. Public retail listings checked on 27–28 August 2026 showed Android smart terminals from about ৳16,900, counter-style terminals around ৳17,500–৳70,000 and premium packages higher. A bank card terminal is usually acquired through a bank, not bought like a normal billing computer.

Current retail POS machine prices

Category 1: Android smart terminal

These handheld or compact devices combine a touchscreen, Android and often a thermal printer. They suit tableside billing, delivery, food carts and tight counters.

Check Android version, RAM/storage, battery, roll width, NFC or scanner if required, app installation policy and local firmware support. An Android device can still be locked to a vendor or lack the services your app expects.

Category 2: all-in-one counter

A counter POS combines a larger touchscreen computer with a stand and sometimes a second customer display or printer. It looks permanent and can handle a fixed cashier station.

Ask for full CPU, RAM, storage, operating system, display resolution, ports and replacement parts. The package price may or may not include printer, drawer, scanner, software licence or installation.

Category 3: bank card POS terminal

A card terminal reads payment credentials and sends an authorisation request through the acquiring bank. It is not the restaurant system that manages menu, KOT, stock, staff and reports.

Contact the bank for current onboarding, MDR, settlement, rental or deposit, SIM/network and support terms. Do not buy an ordinary Android billing terminal expecting it to process bank cards without acquiring approval and certified payment capability.
