Who this POS is built for

Rosuii is built for food businesses, not general retail. There is no barcode-driven shop counter, no garments or pharmacy stock model — the order flow assumes a kitchen, a menu with variations and add-ons, and a bill that goes out hot.

Business typeWhat you run in RosuiiPlan to start on
RestaurantsDine-in with tables and waiters, takeaway at the counter and staff-entered delivery on one order screen. Move an open order to another table in the same branch or merge two eligible orders, and print service charge and VAT on the bill.Free (1 branch, 20 orders a day). Starter (৳500/month) for KDS, table QR ordering or inventory.
Cafés and quick serviceA fast counter flow with sizes, add-ons and notes. Take part cash and part bKash on one bill, and split a bill into equal shares at the till.Free for a small counter. Starter (৳500/month) for the kitchen display (KDS) and the customer display (CDS).

Food courtsSeveral outlets trading under one menu. One bill can hold dishes from several outlets, and each dish counts as its own kitchen's sale whichever counter collected the money.Starter (৳500/month) with kitchen-to-outlet setup. Growth (৳1,200/month) for up to 5 branches.

If you are looking for POS software for a pharmacy, a clothing shop or a general store, this is not it. Everything below assumes food.

What the POS actually does

Each line below is a shipped capability with a plan attached, not a roadmap. Where a module starts on a paid plan, it says so.

  • Billing that matches your receipt

Rosuii calculates configured service charge and VAT in the order total and prints an itemised receipt. Discounts, coupons, loyalty, service charge and VAT are applied in a fixed order so the printed bill and the report agree.

  • Kitchen tickets on every plan

KOT printing is part of the core POS on every plan. The kitchen display (KDS) and the customer order-ready display (CDS) are available Starter and above. Each kitchen station can also print its own ticket automatically on its own network thermal printer.

  • Tables, covers and QR ordering

Assign tables and waiters, record how many guests a dine-in bill fed, and let guests order from a table QR. The branded storefront, cart, checkout, order tracking and table QR ordering start Starter and above.

  • Delivery your staff control

Take a delivery order with the guest's name, phone and address, send the kitchen ticket, then record the payment or cash on delivery. Rider assignment and reassignment are part of the delivery workflow.

  • Billing that survives an outage, within limits

On a device that has already synced its menu and customers, the POS keeps taking and billing eligible orders during an internet outage and queues them locally until the connection returns. Initial sign-in, uncached data, gateway confirmation and live cross-device updates still need a connection.

  • A Windows app for the counter

A Windows 10/11 x64 desktop client with locally stored data and a durable queue for eligible POS sales and payment records. Use the same restaurant account; prepare the device online before you rely on it offline.

Taking payment

What a guest can pay with, and what is recorded rather than processed, are two different things. Rosuii is explicit about which is which.

  • Cash and cash on delivery on every plan.
  • On Pro, guests can pay through the restaurant's own bKash and Nagad merchant credentials. You bring the merchant account; Rosuii connects it.
  • Card is a recorded payment method on the bill, not a card gateway Rosuii processes.
  • An order can take several payments of different methods — part cash, part bKash — until it is fully paid, and each payment is a ledger entry.
  • Your own Rosuii subscription invoice can be paid online through EPS or by manual transfer; that is separate from how your guests pay you.

Hardware it works with

Rosuii runs in a browser, so the usual starting point is the computer, tablet or phone already on the counter. Printing is where the hardware question is real.

  • Receipt layouts with 58mm, 80mm and A4 printer settings.
  • Thermal receipt printers at the counter, and a network thermal printer per kitchen station for automatic ticket printing.
  • A Windows 10/11 64-bit PC for the desktop client. Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 and 32-bit Windows are not supported by the current build.
  • Test your exact printer, driver and connection with a real sale before the setup goes into service.

Bangla, properly

A POS used by a counter team in Bangladesh has to work in Bangla, not just display a translated menu label.

  • The whole interface switches between Bangla and English, for every staff role.
  • Receipts print in Bangla or English, with your restaurant's own name, address and VAT details.
  • The in-panel assistant answers questions in Bangla or English about running the restaurant.
  • Your public storefront and menu can be published in both languages.

Getting it running

Four steps, in the order a restaurant actually does them.

  1. 1. Create the restaurant

Sign up with your phone number or email. Your restaurant gets its own subdomain and its own isolated database — your data is not in a shared table with another restaurant's.

  2. 2. Load the menu

Add categories and items with sizes, variations and add-ons. There is a quick-add grid and a CSV import for a long menu, so the first day is not spent typing.

  3. 3. Set up printing and tax

Choose the receipt size, connect the counter printer, and configure service charge and VAT the way your restaurant charges them. Print a test bill and check the totals before service.

  4. 4. Train the counter, then open

Create staff with roles so a waiter sees the order screen and not the reports. Run a rehearsal order end to end — including a deliberate offline test if you plan to rely on it.

Restaurants already running on Rosuii

Every restaurant on Rosuii gets a public storefront on its own address. Browsing them is the most honest demo there is — a real menu, real prices, published by the restaurant itself.

Questions buyers ask

How much does POS software cost in Bangladesh?
Rosuii has four plans in Taka: Free ৳0, Starter ৳500 a month (৳3,500 a year), Growth ৳1,200 a month (৳8,400 a year) and Pro ৳2,500 a month (৳17,500 a year). There is no setup fee and no per-terminal licence. Hardware, printer supplies, internet and payment-provider fees are separate.
Is there a free POS software plan?
Free is a permanent ৳0 plan, not a trial, and needs no card. It covers order entry, menu, tables, customers, reports and KOT printing for 1 branch, 150 menu items and 20 orders a day. Online ordering, KDS, CDS and inventory start on Starter.
Does the POS work without internet?
Partly. On a device that synced its menu and customers while online, eligible orders and cash billing keep working during an outage and sync when the connection returns. First sign-in, payment-gateway confirmation, live KDS updates and cross-device sync still need internet.
Is there a Windows POS app, or only a website?
Both, on the same restaurant account and plan. Use the browser on a phone, tablet or laptop, or install the Windows 10/11 64-bit desktop app; Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 32-bit Windows are not supported.
What hardware and printers do I need?
A phone, tablet, laptop or PC you already own is enough to start. Receipt layouts cover 58mm, 80mm and A4, and automatic kitchen-ticket printing to network printers starts on Starter. Test your exact printer with a real sale and a Bangla receipt before service.
Can my staff use it in Bangla?
Every staff role can switch the whole interface between Bangla and English. Receipts and kitchen tickets print in either language with your restaurant's details, and dish names appear exactly as you type them. Print a Bangla ticket on your own printer first; what a thermal printer can render depends on its own fonts.

Try it on your own menu

The Free plan needs no card and no sales call. Load your real menu, print a real receipt, and decide from there.
