First distinguish recording a wallet receipt from confirming payment through a gateway. Rosuii supports payment records; eligible bKash/Nagad gateway checkout is on Pro, with the restaurant's approved merchant account, credentials and provider terms. This is separate from paying Rosuii subscription invoices. Read the payment conditions and demonstrate confirmation and reconciliation before enabling customer checkout.

How it works

The workflow, step by step

1. Identify the payment flow

Choose whether you need a counter record or connected customer checkout. Card and Rocket entries do not prove a provider transfer. EPS is for the Rosuii subscription, not the restaurant’s gateway.

2. Confirm the prerequisites

For connected bKash/Nagad checkout, confirm Pro, approved merchant credentials, the live/sandbox mode, connectivity and provider fees. Do not send gateway secrets by ordinary support message.

3. Reconcile a split-tender example

In a test bill of BDT 1,000, record BDT 600 cash and BDT 400 by the other method you actually use. Check the outstanding amount after the first entry and the final paid amount. This is an illustration of one bill with two payments, not per-guest receipts.

4. Check success, failure and cancellation

Use an appropriate test environment to inspect a successful and a failed checkout. A simulated success is not proof of live settlement. Test order cancellation separately and confirm how any real money return would be handled.

5. Match the report to the evidence

Use the same reporting period and match recorded cash, other methods and outstanding amounts to receipts and provider records. Review VAT and service-charge settings with your accountant; this is not a compliance certification.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between recording and processing a payment?

Recording means staff enter a method and amount against the order. A connected gateway asks the provider to process a transaction and confirm its result. A Card or Rocket entry is a record, not evidence that Rosuii processed the transfer.

What do we need for bKash or Nagad checkout?

Pro, your restaurant’s approved merchant credentials, a correctly configured live gateway and internet access. Confirm eligibility, charges and settlement terms with the provider. A personal wallet number alone is not a gateway setup.

Can a guest use cash and another payment method on one bill?

Amount-based split tender lets several recorded amounts cover one order until it is paid. Test each method, the remaining balance and the payment report. Separate per-item or per-guest bills are not offered.

Do Rosuii subscription payment options apply to my restaurant checkout?

No. EPS or manual methods shown for paying Rosuii belong to your software subscription. Restaurant checkout has its own methods and merchant setup. Paying Rosuii by card does not give your restaurant a card gateway.

Does cancellation return the diner’s money?

Do not treat cancellation as a completed refund. Verify the recorded order adjustment and arrange any money return through the responsible restaurant and provider process. A manager-PIN refund or complimentary-item approval workflow is not offered.
